Here at Anahera Press we are delighted to be opening our doors again after a hiatus. Our first offering will be Sleeping with Stones, a poetry collection by Serie Barford, to be released during Matariki 2021. Following this we will release Give Me an Ordinary Day (formerly Tidelines) by Anahera Press publisher Kiri Piahana-Wong, and Briar Wood’s third collection, A Book of Rongo and Te Rangahau, with more titles to be confirmed. Anahera Press will open for submissions on 1st February (poetry only). Ngā mihi nui.

Ngā mihi o te Kirihimete from Anahera Press. We are shutting down today and will re-open on the 9th of January. In the New Year we will be completing production on Apirana Taylor’s long-awaited second novel, Five Strings. Ngā mihi o te Kirihimete from Anahera Press. We are shutting down today and will re-open on the 18th of January. In the New Year we will be commencing the production of Apirana Taylor’s new novel, Five Strings, and in the second half of the year we will be working on a debut poetry collection by an emerging Pasifika poet whose work we love – details to be announced next year. Today is the first day of operations for the new Anahera website. This is the ‘soft’ launch, rather than the official launch which will take place in late November. By then, we hope to iron out any issues with the website and also tidy things up! Thanks for coming to visit while we are in our beta stage!
