Anahera Press has recently been informed about an interesting opportunity for Māori poets! Call for submissions: The Auckland Latin American Community Inc. (ALAC) plans to publish a book of Māori poetry translated into Spanish. They believe this is the first time a publisher has attempted to bring Māori poetry to the Spanish-speaking world. Māori poets are invited to submit unpublished poetry ideally in te reo with an English translation, but English only is ok if that is not possible. Poems will appear in the book in te reo, English, and Spanish. Deadline for receiving expressions of interest is 30th June. Email Esteban Espinoza at email@example.com.
Nga mihi o Te Tau Hou ki a koutou katoa. It’s a new year and here at Anahera Press we are very happy to announce that we have re-opened for submissions. While we plan to retain a strong focus on publishing poetry, we are now also branching out into other genres. Full details below!

Send submissions by email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or post a hard copy to Anahera Press, PO Box 8014, Symonds St, Auckland 1150. Receipt of your submission will be acknowledged by email. A full response will take up to three months.
